Welcome to Survive and Thrive website
Fermanagh District Council in partnership with Omagh District Council have received funding from the LED Competitiveness Programme under the European Regional Development Fund to implement a Business Survival And Growth project in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council areas.
The Survive & Thrive Programme works throughout the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council areas seeking businesses that require support to survive and grow and put appropriate support in place to enable this survival and growth. Business reviews are completed for each business by the Project Coordinator who develops an Action Plan or signposts to an existing provision. The Action Plan sets out recommended mentor support in various business areas and this is then agreed by the Coordinator and the client business and appropriate expertise is sought from the Business Mentor List. (Fermanagh District Council and Omagh District Council issued a public call in October 2010 requesting appropriate individuals or organisations to submit tenders for inclusion on a Business Mentor List for the Survive & Thrive Business Mentoring Programme. 44 individuals were selected for inclusion on the Business Mentor List. All business mentoring undertaken on the Survive & Thrive Programme is completed by mentors who sit on the Business Mentor List. It is not anticipated that there will be another call for tenders for inclusion on the Business Mentor List.)
